About the Paperboard Packaging Council

The Paperboard Packaging Alliance

The Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) and the American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA) have joined forces to provide high school and university-level packaging students with educational tools to help further their knowledge of the paperboard packaging industry. The Paperboard Packaging Alliance (PPA) provides curriculum and materials, and a design competition to award scholarships to packaging students.     

  • White Paper -  Paperboard Packaging Transforms Itself for the Consumer-Driven Value Chain

  • Student Design Competition  - The competition, which is open to any university student interested in package design, provides students with an opportunity to display their most impressive packaging designs and productions, and promote winning packages to potential employers. Winner's receive  a cash award of $1,500, and their academic program will also receive a cash award of $2,500. Details on the 2006 Student Design Challenge will be announced at PackExpo in September.
