Folding Carton Boot Camp

May 30 - 31, 2012

December 4 - 5, 2012

PPC World Headquarters
Springfield, Mass.

PPC’s Folding Carton Boot Camp is ideal for anyone new to cartons (even if not new to the industry) and non-plant personnel with limited experience outside a single plant operation. From making paper to customer delivery and all “folding carton” points and processes in between, this comprehensive program is everything you wanted to know about folding cartons, but were afraid to ask.

The program follows the production process, from paper to inks and coatings, presses, prepress, CAD, layout, graphics, tooling, embossing, stamping, stripping, finishing, gluing, windowing, and through to delivery. And to see everything in action a plant tour is included in the program.

Each participant receives a copy of the popular Ideas and Innovation Handbook, an $80 value, as well as a binder chock full of paper and carton samples, instructional information, and a comprehensive glossary of printing terms. The program also includes a CD of presentation .pdfs as well as a certificate of completion, ready for framing. Lunch and dinner on Tuesday and breakfast and lunch on Wednesday are also included.
