Human Resources Program

PPC's Human Resources Program is designed to provide tools for maintaining a healthy organizational culture. Educational seminars on leadership development, communications, group behavior/processes and performance management describe some of the methods used to encourage organizational health and success. PPC conducts two human resources seminars yearly.

PPC provides its membership with benchmarking tools such as the Labor Data Survey and the Exempt Compensation and Benefits Report.

The Labor Data Survey, conducted annually in the Summer, provides comprehensive information on compensation and benefits for hourly workers in the folding carton industry. The information detailed in this survey is vital to human resources managers for negotiating labor agreements and for evaluating employee compensation packages. The results of the Labor Data Survey are only available to facilities that participate in the program.

The PPC Exempt Compensation and Benefits Report, conducted bi-annually, consist of compensation and benefits data for exempt (salaried) personnel of folding carton manufacturing plants. This report provides management and human resources professionals with a direct comparison of the most up-to-date information on exempt compensation and benefits in their area and across the nation. The results of the Exempt Compensation Survey are only available to companies that participate in the survey.
